Experience Ten Thousand Villages Souderton with Gail Adams as we feature EGYPT ALL DAY on Saturday, JUNE 13, 2009! 10am-5pm. Gail is the Retail Manager here at the Care & Share Shoppes and in March 2009 she spent two weeks on a MCC Thrift Shop Network Learning Tour in Egypt. In her words, "For someone who has never been to Cairo it is very difficult to describe all the elements that made this such a fascinating place for me. To take in such a change in culture and people was a challenge...I didn't want to miss a thing."
Come and meet Gail and learn about her many experiences such as meeting with MCC service workers who are presently in Egypt teaching English to elementary schools and adults and working to network peace initiative groups and disabled children at the Seeds of Hope Home.
